Cold Turkey: I Quit. Plain and Simple.

I have a 2 year old son and a daughter on the way. I could not
imagine not living long enough to see them grow up. Heart
disease runs big in my family and I'm not getting any younger. I
just want to be here for my family. I had been smoking for 12
years. One day a couple of months ago, I quit. Plain and simple.
I don't know how I did it. I just told myself I was done
smoking. I had tried several times before, but to prevail I
started smoking again after a couple days. I feel awesome but
I'm still a little short of breath. I know that that will pass
in short time. I run regularly and stay active, which helps. If
you're reading this.....I know it's hard, but it feels great.
