Exercise: Be Confident and Responsible

by Janette Tumaob

I think that exercise really is the best method of quitting smoking. Also the best month should be around April/May - spring season bec. all the holidays are gone, you do have to keep yourself fit and looking good for the summer. Not only bec. of wearing swimsuits but also there's so much to do during the summer. Think about hiking, swimming, kayaking, etc. those are the stuff that I would love to do outdoors that motivate me to quit. Yes I haven't smoked in awhile but, there's still this tiny voice in my mind that's telling me to go back. A little pressure from work or personal life, the urge comes in. Have a positive circle around you, people, friends and stay away from negativity. Some bad news or people who are always complaining and annoying. The best way to handle this is to design yourself to be a confident and responsible person. have a positive outlook in life so that whatever pressure that may arise, you don't have to light up a cigarette, just feel good that you didn't light up, that's a lot better.
