Fake Cigarette: Smoke a Pen

Well, it's only been a week...but so far so good! My method. A pen. Yep...I inhale it and exhale as though I were having a cigarette while sitting in front of the T.V. Sure it might look strange...but when you think about it, smoking is less than attractive (oh yeah, and the pen doesn't smell gross) I'll be 25 next month and it occured to me that (being the New Millenium and all) I didn't want to celebrate another birthday as a smoker. I have a bright future and I'm very determined at everything I do wiht the exception of this one disgusting vice. Not anymore. I'm already waking up every morning WITHOUT hacking up a lung...and that feels great. I hope to be an example to my boyfriend. He's always smoked more than me to begin with, but thank goodness we've NEVER smoked IN the house. That's another thing I don't miss...sitting outside on the porch in that (very) cold Saskatchewan weather! Aside from the pen method...I am paying attention to my breathing...I take 5 or 6 deep breaths when I feel a craving coming on. Seems to work just fine. Good Luck to you smokers trying to quit. I don't pride myself on having the utmost will power...so if I can do it...anyone can! After 9 years...it was time for a change.(Yeah for me!...and you too!)
