Get Sick: Colonoscopy?!?!?!

Well, I was preparing for two tests -- an endoscopy and
colonoscopy -- the prep for these two tests made me so ill, that
actually I couldn't even think of smoking until after the
procedures were over.
Well, I felt awful after they were over and slept for the rest of
the day. Hubby asked me if I wanted to have my "afternoon
smoke" and I said "I'll pass". Needless to say, I made it till
the following morning without one, and then decided to play a
game with myself. "Just for today" I will not smoke. I've gone
24 hours, let me see if I can go another 24 hours!
Well, it's been over 10 days now, almost 11 -- while I don't
advocate those two tests for anyone (they're hideous) -- it
worked for me. Especially since I had NO intentions of quitting
at that point!!!!!
