Gross!: Eat a Cigarette

it sounds gastly, but eat one. yes that's right eat one. eat a whole cigarette. it's crazy i know, but here's the idea behind it. think of it this way. convinse yourself that if its healthy enough to smoke then its healthy enough to eat, right? the conditioned response is obvious. smokers enjoy the sensation of the cigarette in the mouth. mouth to cigarette. light, smoke, enjoy. pavlov's dog, a trained response. this time interrupt the pattern with a new sensation, the sensation of vomitting. try it. chew on it. dry, with chocolate or tomato sauce i don't care! NO MATTER!! it's disgusting when you do! you will never get it down!! all the chemicals in their pre-ignited state are realized immediatly. your brain says NO! now, promise yourself for every cigarette i smoke, i will eat one. (i bet a friend so i had to follow through.) how bad could it be? every time i bring one of those things close to my mouth, i gag horribly. the smell of one in the air brings back the memory of what that smell tastes like. the poison, the gas, the arsinic. i now it's nuts but then again so is smoking the things in the first place. get to know whats in one, and ask yourself whould YOU eat it? it's impossible. your stomach will not keep it down. and if you are successful, you will interrupt the pattern. cigarette in mouth means lunch in the toilet. no patch, no pill, no gum. just my buddies promise, and my brain delivering a different message from an other wise conditioned response. in otherwords, i dont come when the bell starts ringing. might be much, to swallow (sorry,) but it worked.
