A malignant tumor was seen in my bladder. The doctor and other
research all stated that smoking was the number 1 cause of
bladder cancer. The 112 chemicals in a cigerette mix with the
urine. I had never heard about smoking causing bladder cancer.
I faired better than most in that my tumor was non-invasive so I
have been able to keep my bladder. The day of my surgery, I quit
smoking. It has been one month. When I get an urge to smoke I
think about another surgery or another bladder tumor forming.
Others should know even though you tell yourself "everyone has to
die from something, that there are things caused by smoking that
people have to suffer through before they die. Like surgery or
being treating for cancer.
