Health: Staples and Stiches in the Leg Makes You Think

I went into the hospital on April 22, 2002 for vascular surgery.
I ended up in ICU. I grave everyday, but I realize after
talking to my respitory doctor that the damage is done and now
all I can do is keep from doing more damage. I feel better of
course it is kind of hard to tell since I do have 50 staples and
stitches in my left leg from my knee to my groin which is not
healing right and I might end back in the hospital because of
infection and have to be opened again. The only thing I can say
is when you lay in the hospital and you cannot breathe it really
makes you stop and think if those cancer sticks are really worth
it and to me they are not.
