Health: Why is This Killer Drug Legal?!?!

by Daniel . B

Nelson,
New Zealand

Well, i was about 15 when i became addicted to nicotine, i am now 19 and have just been in hospital getting my right lung re-inflated... The doctor said I HAVE TO QUIT! I was in the hospital for 3 days, and i always said to my self that if i am ever in hospital due to smoking, i would quit, so i took advantage of being in hospital to quit... I am now on day 5 and although im feeling a little edgy, the withdrawals are extremely mild to what i had imagined... Im hoping the worst is over, i am impatiently waiting for the withdrawels to hit me hard any minute now, but i am prepared for the worst... Apart from a punchured lung, i also suffer asthma, so I MUST quit... Unlike others who worry more about the money they can save, i am more concerned for my life, it is a drug addiction and so many young people are falling into the trap. We have to ask our selfs why this killer drug is even legal...
