Here are a few steps that you can use to help u quit smoking or even just reduce the amount you smoke in a day! .Stay active( set a time limit and go for a long jog or walk, just clear your mind ex: run in a park or in a area where you are not likely to see others smoking!) .Buy gum! ( sure youve heard that before, but find a brand that you love and crave and pull out a stick ANYTIME the slightest thought of a cigarette even appears in your mind!) .Calculte how much you would normally spend on your packs of cigarettes weekly, think of the money you would be saving, and before you have a sudden urge to buy a pack with your last bit of money, take a jog to the mall and treat yourself to something you wouldnt normally want to spend a large amount on! Ex: A LARGE ice cream sundae with all your favourite topings! .Forget all the lazy days! Motivate yourself, clean things that are normally not your job! .Find a close friend or family member that will help you quit and help get your mind of cigarettes or even better find someone to stick with who is also trying to quit! Beat the urge! .And last, when you want a cigarette think of the damage it does, if picturing it in your mind doesnt do the trick, then do some research! find a website with graphic pictures, run to the library and find a book!
