Nicotine Patch: I Don't Want to Have to Do This Again

by Tina Wiechec

If a person decides they don't want to smoke anymore, wanting to quit won't work. They must be ready. Ready to put their heart and soul into it. I use Nicoderm cq. I had people tell me it didn't work for them. I believe any kind of help will work, but not if their not READY. Why put myself through this more than once? I would prefer to quit successfully the first time rather than know what I have to look forward to again. I smoked 14 yrs. Half of my life. I knew it wasn't going to be easy. I not only have the addiction, but the mental habit as well. I tell myself its all in my head and it will go away. I also tell myself I will develop new habits and I have. Its been almost a month. On Easter it will be. Reading facts also helps. Its kind of scary what I did to my body. Reading the "bad" or negative things helps me too.
