Obvious: Stop Smoking at the Source

This is not a cure but prevention. When we discovered that DDT was harmful to the environment and us did we put graphic warnings on the package or advertise its harmful effects? When we found that Tylenol contained cyanide did we just put warning labels on the package telling us that this could be harmful to our health? ? In Walkerton when they found that the water was harmful did they just put up a sign announcing that drinking the water could kill you? In the above few examples when peoples health was at risk the cause of the problem was removed. If government and society were really serious about our health then it would seem to be a logical solution to first of all remove the cigarettes and tobacco products from the shelf and then deal with the addiction. But then maybe this is not really about our health and well-being but unfortunately about MONEY. I thank you for this opportunity to speak out and applaud you in your efforts . JerryN
