Cold turkey with Cinnamon Sticks.
Cinnamon sticks are readily available, inexpensive, Their
substantial sturdy size is appealing and comforting. They can be
handled, twirled twidled, licked, sucked and even inhaled. One
gets to inhale sweet, fresh air dep into the lungs. (No, one
never lights them.)
My husband and I quit 1/1/00. The cinnamon sticks have been my
salvation, but don't seem to help or appeal to my husband.
Learned of them from a friend who conducts stop smoking classes
for the American Cancer Society. She says they're very helpful
for men in office/worksite locations that go non-smokind
abruptly.
