Zyban: Get a Manicure With the Money Saved

My method was a combo approach. First I had to prepare my mind with the concept and later a specific date. I took Zyban for a short while (2-3 weeks) but quit because it made me feel fuzzy and anxious, like a bad buzz. I smoked my last cig on a saturday night before bed and sunday went well. It was on monday at work (where I used to smoke all day while I worked) that I started getting extremely anxious. Finally I started to chew some nicotine gum just to take the edge off. i never was a regular gum chewer so that only lasted about a week and a half in certain situations. I also started excersising regularly a month or two before I quit. That is good for my head and it keeps me busy. This is probably the weirdest part, I never threw away the rest of my last pack. It is still sitting on my coffee table. I figure that if I can resist that urge only 5 feet away, I will have no problem at work, or at a bar or out with my friends. I also found that the cravings came at the oddest moments. like after work one day I ran some errands and went to the grocery store and I was tired and hungry and just wanted to get home. That's when I put the groceries in the car and started driving home, I was reaching for my cigarettes. It was really weird. The more time goes by, though, I've become a nonsmoker and those habits have faded. One last thing that has helped. Money. Calculate the savings and you'll soon realize that without smoking you'll have 20 to 30 or even more dollars extra a week. I promised myself that when I quit I could get my nails done whenever I wanted and now they look great with a new manicure and no butt. :) and I'm still money ahead and boy do I feel great. I used to have headaches often but they faded with my withdrawal. I have cheated, but only for a drag that was terrible and I really didn't want it anyhow.
